By the end of July 2022 year, the total value of China’s imports and exports has been growing for 26 consecutive months, and the scale of trade has reached the highest level compare with the same period in history. Exports in July increased by 23.9%, and the trade surplus reached 682.69 billion Yuan(About 100.52 billion US dollars by currency exchange rate). The monthly export growth rate and trade balance exceeded market expectations again.
We opened a “China export” serial column, in the serial article, we will discuss about these questions one by one.
This is the first article, in this article we will discuss these two question: How do I export products from China? How do I import products from China?
1.Register a company.
No matter you are a Chinese or a foreigner, you can register companies in China, get exporting licence and get government subsidy. as long as your enterprises have obtained the qualifications of general taxpayers or small-scale taxpayers at the National Tax Bureau.
2.Have customers or Get suppliers.
Customers are God. But how to find overseas customers? Or we can say How Chinese find overseas customers? How to do advertisement? If you are a buyer, want to find reliable Chinese suppliers, you will know the methods by reading this article,too.
1) B2B website(Usually big and high value products are selling on B2B website)
2) B2C website(Usually small and low value products are selling on B2C website)
3) Customs data.
4) Social APP: Facebook, Tiktok, Youtube, , Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Whatsapp etc.
3.Exporting procedure.
This is also another question: How to transport products from China?
The main ways to ship products are 1) by sea. 2) By train. 3) By truck. 4) By airplane.
1) By sea, for Europe, America, Oceania, Africa, non-border areas of Asia.
Book ship from shipping agents, send goods to nearby seaport for loading into container or get the empty container to factory for loading into container, load containers to ship.
2) By train, for Europe, Asia border area.
3) By truck, Five Central Asian Countries and other border countries .
4) By airplane, for all countries, but only suitable to small, light or urgent needed goods.
4.Documents.
After exporting, should prepare documents for customers for Customs Clearance. Usually including Bill of Lading, commercial invoice, packing list. Based on different customers requirements, maybe also need certificate of origin and other certificates.
